Anti- Inflammatory Qualities
Aloe Vera has been found to have certain anti-inflammatory qualities that could help to relieve some of the pain associated with arthritis or muscle aches and pains. These anti-inflammatory chemical compounds called Anthraquinones have proven to reduce swelling, promote healing and alleviate pain. Aloe vera crude gel has both protective and curative properties against inflammation. The gel is even used topically in sports medicine to help soothe achy muscles, however, if it is taken orally the anti-inflammatory ingredients can help with the pain. aloe vera can also provide some relief from issues caused by extreme colds such as frostbite. Frostbite can cause severe and permanent damage like tissue death if left untreated. In a mild case of frostbite aloe vera may also help tissue healing by helping the cells replicate faster making new healthy skin.
