There are two substances that come from the aloe vera - a clear gel and its yellow latex. These two substances are frequently used to manufacture commercial products. The aloe vera gel is normally used to make topical medications for skin conditions such as burns, wounds, frostbite, rashes, psoriasis or dry skin.
The aloe latex is used individually or manufactured as a product with other ingredients.
